Trial run.

I put some raw chicken on some fishing line, hooked it to a bobber, and threw it in my pond.  About an hour later the bobber was dancing all over the place. A big snapping turtle was swimming around it getting the chicken. Tomorrow the season opens in them and I will be throwing out more chicken, but with a hook. I will post pics if I catch one.

facebook is no more...

That's right, I deleted my Facebook account. To much crap to have to deal with on a site about keeping in touch with people. I will go back eventually, but will be thinning out my friends list.

In other news in a few days I will be trying to catch some snapping turtles. I have 4 big ones in my pond and want them gone. This should be fun.
